Holidays

Red Sea

The Red Sea is an inlet of the Indian Ocean between Africa and Asia. Reputed as the some of the best reef diving in the world, the Red Sea is the habitat of over 200 hard and soft corals, and home to some of the worlds largest and most impressive pelagic, it is the most northern tropical reef. The Red Sea is also renowned for its world class wreck diving, boasting such wrecks as the mighty Thistlegorm, the stunning Rosalie Moller and the haunting and controversial Salem Express. In October 2007 join the team at in deep on a dive holiday to Egypt. Choose the liveaboard option and visit the wrecks of the Northern Itinery from Hurghada, or visit the stunning reefs from a dayboat and hotel based holiday in Sharm el Sheik.

Maldives

The Maldives are the visible coral tip of a volcanic mountain range whose outer edge at some points plunge to such depths as 3000 meters. The isolation and freedom from land mass has made the Maldives home to a fabulous variety of marine animals. This incredibly rich marine ecosystem hosts such species as sharks, including the Hammerhead, Grey Reef sharks, White Tip Reef sharks and ray such as the Eagle and Manta. With turtles, Frogfish, Jacks, Barracuda, snappers and Napoleon Wrasse, the list is almost endless. The Maldives already boasts an incredible number of snorkel and dive sites, and the number of dive sites is ever increasing, as more and more inaccessible areas are being made available to divers. This is truly a magnificent dive holiday and destination, and availability is limited.

Scapa Flow (Scapa Scuba)
September 30th-October 7th

Join Sean Mc Tierney diving Scapa Flow. Scapa is a sheltered open lagoon, encircled by the Orkney Islands. It contains some of the most interesting wrecks in the world. For years it was the main anchorage of the British Royal Navy, and has many relics left of British naval history. In June 1919, the interned German navy scuttled most of its High Seas Fleet to prevent them from falling into Allied hands. Despite subsequent salvage, 8 of them remain and provide excellent wrecks for interested sports divers. Sean is diving these wrecks from one of Scapa’s most popular liveaboard and has a relationship with Scapa Scuba who together will be hosting the trip. The price is £322 per person which will includes accommodation (liveaboard), diving, air/nitrox. For travel plans and costs or more info contact us.
